The brainchild of Dr. Haifa Azawi, who after finishing her fellowship in OB/GYN at Calif. Med. Center LA, was working at Kaiser Permanente. She discovered an increase in the number of patient requests for her specialized service. As the then director of Kaiser's OB/GYN services she felt she could serve her patients better if she opened her own office.

New Woman Medical Care's first advertisments were distributed at a local Ralph grocery store announcing of a woman doctor who care for women. Through her relationship with the stores mananger, Dr. Azawi was able to have her advertisment inserted into each shopping bag leaving the store. Four weeks later New Woman Medical Care opened it's first office. In the first session we saw 29 patients and traffic has never stoped since.

New Woman Medical Care is now serving a second generation patients. Children who were born under New Woman Medical Care are now letting New Woman Medical Care help them to build their familes.
